This workshop will help you:

  • Understand why spelling is so hard to teach and what many teachers get wrong
  • Learn how English spelling works so you can teach it with confidence
  • Explicitly teach new patterns in a way that sticks
  • Choose spelling practice activities that lead to real results

This workshop is for you if you teach K-3rd grade students
or older struggling spellers and ...

  • English spelling feels unpredictable and hard to explain
  • Students frequently misspell "irregular" high frequency words
  • Weekly spelling words don't transfer to student writing
  • You're teaching spelling, but it doesn't seem to be sticking

English spelling isn't crazy.

It's complex.

Let's crack the code together.

Many teachers were never given clear guidance on how to teach spelling, or why students keep forgetting the spellings they've been taught.

Join me for this 90-minute workshop, and you’ll walk away with a clear,
research-aligned plan for teaching spelling.

A little about me

I’m Anna Geiger, founder of Reach All Readers.

For years, I taught reading through a balanced literacy lens, and I believed that students would better remember spelling words if I led them to "discover" the patterns on their own.

But as I dug into research, interviewed experts, and worked with teachers, I learned this: Students benefit from direct instruction in all elements of spelling - phonology, orthography, and morphology.

I’ve spent over 20 years teaching, learning, unlearning, and rebuilding my approach to literacy instruction.

This workshop is about helping teachers let go of ineffective teaching practices and give spelling instruction that sticks.

Your questions ... answered!

Is this live?

No, this is a recording of a live workshop. No need to wait - you get instant access!

There are a lot of "science of reading" voices out there. Why should I listen to you?

You're wise to be cautious! What makes this different is that I'm not here to overwhelm you with jargon or make you feel like you've been doing everything wrong.

I'm a fellow educator who's been in the trenches, and I've spent years translating the research into real-world strategies for busy teachers.

I'm not just another social media voice. I've invested deeply in this work, and I'm currently pursuing a PhD in Literacy so I can continue bringing clarity and confidence to teachers like you.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is designed specifically for elementary teachers, literacy coaches, and interventionists who work with students in K-3rd grade or older struggling spellers.

How much time will it take to implement what I learn?

You'll be able to make small, meaningful changes right away. This is about doing things better, not doing more.

What if I feel shaky about the science of reading?

That's okay. I explain the research in plain language.

Will this work if my students are just starting to learn to spell words?

Yes. We'll discuss how to get started with spelling instruction and how to build on that foundation.

Will this really answer my questions?

Yes. This workshop is designed to address the most common questions teachers have about spelling instruction and give you clear, practical next steps.

I already own your course or book. Should I still come?

Yes! This workshop will help you connect the dots and apply what you've learned in a clear, practical way.

I'm a member of Reach All Readers Plus. Is this part of it?

No, this is a separate resource and is not included in the membership.

Do I need anything to attend?

Just print the workbook, and you'll be ready to go!
