Who is this workshop for?

  • Educators who are confident with decoding, but unsure how what teaching comprehension actually looks like
  • Teachers who are tired of treating comprehension as something to assess instead of teach
  • Anyone who's wondering what to teach beyond "strategy of the week" lessons
  • All educators concerned about students who can read words but still struggle to make sense of what they read

Comprehension is complex.

But that doesn't mean it's unteachable.

Many teachers were never given clear guidance on what comprehension instruction should focus on.

Join me for this 90-minute workshop, and you’ll walk away with a clear,
research-aligned plan for teaching comprehension.

A little about me

I’m Anna Geiger, founder of Reach All Readers.

For many years, I believed that teaching a "strategy a week" was the key to building comprehension.

Like many educators, I was doing what I had been taught.

But as I dug into reading research, interviewed experts, and worked with thousands of teachers, I learned this: When comprehension instruction isn’t intentional—when we aren’t clear about what we’re building and why—too many students are left behind.

I’ve spent over 20 years teaching, learning, unlearning, and rebuilding my approach to literacy instruction.

This workshop is about helping teachers make clearer decisions about what to teach for comprehension.

Your questions ... answered!

Is this live?

No, this is a recording of a live workshop. No need to wait to watch -- you'll get instant access!

There are a lot of "science of reading" voices out there. Why should I listen to you?

You're wise to be cautious. What makes this different is that I'm not here to overwhelm you with jargon or make you feel like you've been doing everything wrong.

I'm a fellow educator who's been in the trenches, and I've spent years translating research into real-world strategies for busy teachers.

I'm not just another social media voice. I've invested deeply in this work, and I'm currently pursuing a PhD in Literacy so I can continue bringing clarity and confidence to teachers.

Who is this workshop for?

This training is designed for elementary teachers, literacy coaches, and interventionists who work with students in K--3 or older struggling readers.

How much time will it take to implement what I learn?

You'll be able to make small, meaningful changes right away. This is about doing things better -- not doing more.

What if I feel shaky about the science of reading?

That's okay. I explain the research in clear, plain language and focus on what actually matters for instruction.

Will this be helpful if my students struggle with language or background knowledge?

Yes. The training addresses the role of language, knowledge, and vocabulary in comprehension -- and how to support students who need more of all three.

I already own your course or book. Is this still worth watching?

Yes. This recording offers a focused walkthrough that helps connect the ideas and make them easier to apply in your classroom.

I'm a member of Reach All Readers Plus. Is this included?

No. This recording is a separate training and is not included in the Reach All Readers Plus membership.

Do I need anything to watch?

Just download and print the workbook, and you'll be ready to go.
